    Job Description


    The Record Specialist position will represent Iron Mountain while working onsite at a customer's facility.  Applicant must possess excellent customer service skills and a high aptitude for problem solving.  The Project Specialist manages an assigned area of legal documents processing, ensuring a high degree of accuracy while maintaining contracted service levels for the customer.


    Key responsibilities include:

    •Processing of both hardcopy and softcopy legal documents by sorting, cataloging into the customer's database, and scanning documents as a PDF file to be accessed by other requestors.  Must maintain a high degree of accuracy at all times.

    •Respond to customer requests for copies of legal documents via a web based request system.  Email response to customer utilizing excellent communication skills and high sense of urgency.

    •Complete other projects as assigned, all pertaining to legal documents processing, researching, scanning and filing

    Job Requirements


    High School diploma or equivalent.

    •High level data entry skills required.  Proficiency on a PC in an IBM compatible and MS DOS environment and familiarity with Windows and word processing software; strong organizational skills and a detail orientation required. Excellent communication skills required.

    •Must be able to handle boxes and pulling files from boxes.

    •At least 1 year data entry experience in a service oriented environment with exposure to customer service.
